The Kellas Stud, owned by Mrs. Beth Mead, is situated in the heart of beautiful Speyside, in the north of Scotland, well-known for its stunning scenery and as the heart of the whisky distilling industry.

Tombreck Farm, the home of the stud, is about 18 miles from Kellas House where my grandfather kept his Shetland pony stud for so many years.

We are approximately 66 miles from Aberdeen and 42 from Inverness, both of which have an airport and railway station. We are also about 45 miles from Thainstone, Inverurie, where the main Scottish Show & Sale of pedigree Shetland ponies is held each October. Catalogues for this sale will be available from the auctioneers at Aberdeen & Northern Marts, Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at the end of September.
